Transitioning from gym climbing to setting up your own outdoor climbs can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Climb outside more this year than ever before by learning these fundamental tools for navigating the crag. Our classes have the best student to instructor ratio in North Carolina, taught by passionate, professional and knowledgeable guides, you will leave ready to go out on your own. During this class, you will learn the basics of locating climbs, building top rope anchors, outdoor belay techniques, what gear to buy and how to stay safe. By the end of the day, each climber will get to set up their own top rope system and climb on it.
Who is this for? All climbers looking to learn or refresh their knowledge of top rope systems, anchor building techniques, risk management and climbing gear fundamentals.
